About our Parks & Recreation Karate Program: TNT Martial Arts is proud to be the only martial arts school in the area chosen to offer classes through the local Parks & Recreation departments in all of our surrounding communities including Romeo/ Washington /Bruce Parks & Recreation, the Armada Community Enrichment Program (ACEP) and the Almont Student Enrichment Program.
Through our long and successful affiliation with the local parks & recreation departments, students have the opportunity to enroll in any of our Karate or Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu programs. This is a great option for new students who may have limited time to dedicate to their training or who are not yet sure if martial arts training is the right choice for them. By enrolling in a Parks & Rec program, you can give the class a try and then decide when you are ready to make a more serious commitment in the future.
Students who register through Parks & Rec will attend the same classes, at our facility, as those who register directly through TNT Martial Arts. The only difference is that Parks & Rec students attend 1 day per week only while those registered at TNT may attend unlimited classes per week.
We offer (4) sessions throughout the year through the local Parks & Recreation departments. They are generally between 10 and 12 weeks in length and start at approximately the following times of the year:
Winter Session - Mid January
Spring Session - Mid April
Summer Session - Mid June
Fall - Mid September
Our Karate Classes are available to ages 6 & up and parents and children may participate in classes together. For younger children, please click on the Lions, Tigers and Bears page for more details.
